Celebrate Saab Car Museum's 50th anniversary!
What a day! A big thank you to those of you who visited the museum during our anniversary and to all of you who helped us make this a memorable day.
The weather was nice, the turnout was great, and the interest in the museum and Saab's classic cars never seems to wane, despite Saab Automobile's bankruptcy in 2011.

Opening hours and times for the various activities
10:00 The museum opens.
10:00–12:00 Visit the museum's workshop.
11:00 Start-up of rally and racing cars outside the workshop.
12:45–13:30 Parade with cars from the museum's collection.
14:00–16:00 Visit the museum's workshop.
15:00 Start-up of rally and racing cars outside the workshop.
16:00 The museum closes.
Entrance fee
• 50 SEK (regular price for adults 140 SEK)
• Pre-sale package: 150 SEK (including entrance, one anniversary sticker and coffee with an anniversary cake)
Due to the Saab Car Museum turning 50 in 2025, we are lowering the entrance fee to 50 SEK for all visitors during September 6!
Together with our neighbors Nova Mat och Möten we are also offering an anniversary pastry for 50 SEK including a drink. On this day, our friends at Innovatum Science Center are also lowering the entrance price to 50 SEK (regular price for adults 150 SEK)
Pre-sale
It is possible to book a pre-sale package at TICKSTER for 150 SEK that includes both entrance fee, anniversary pastry and the museum's anniversary sticker (regular price 50 SEK). You do not save money by buying in advance, but it makes it easier for our planning and management during the event. Everything included in the pre-sale package can be purchased on site, but by booking the pre-sale package you do not risk being without pastry and sticker if demand is high.
NOTE! The opportunity to pre-purchase closes at 23:59 on Friday 5/9 local time. You can still pay entrance fee at the museum on Saturday and buy anniversary stickers and anniversary pastry on site (while supplies last).
Activities
Car parade
A number of invited guests will drive in a motorcade through the Innovatum District to showcase several unique cars from the museum's collection. Expect to see and hear everything from two-strokes to turbos! Tour of the museum's workshop.
Tour of the museum's workshop
Take the opportunity to take a look inside the holiest of all. The workshop handles maintenance, repairs and renovations of cars that are part of the museum's collection.
Start-up of rally and racing cars
In the museum's courtyard we roll out some fantastic cars with merits from both rally forests and racing tracks. Iconic cars driven by equally legendary drivers.
Take the opportunity to see the temporary photo exhibition Roger & Saab
...which will only be shown during the anniversary year 2025. Photographer Roger Lärk will be present to tell you about all the interesting events connected to Saab that he has documented since the early seventies.
The Saab Car Museum Support Organization
...is organizing a quiz inside the museum. Anyone who buys an entrance ticket can participate. Great prizes are promised!
Innovatum Science Center
...which is located next door to the museum, is contributing to the festivities by lowering the entrance price to 50 SEK, so on this day there are plenty of exciting activities for the whole family – at an affordable cost!
Food and drink
Our neighbors Nova mat och möten are open all day. In addition to a tasty lunch, they serve a special anniversary pastry that sells for 50 SEK including a drink (coffee, tea or Smakis). This offer is included in the pre-sale ticket, which can be booked via Tickster.
Parking
• There is free parking in regular parking lots throughout the Innovatum District.
• As a visitor, you choose where in the parking lot you will park your car, subject to space.
• The areas closest to the museum entrance are reserved for the public and the museum's own cars.
• In the map of the Innovatum District you will find all parking lots in the area.
Merchandise
The Saab Car Museum has produced a number of products featuring the museum's anniversary symbol. These products have a limited supply and will only be sold in 2025, or while stocks last.
All products can be purchased on site at the museum. You can also order t-shirts and stickers in our webshop.
NOTE! The mugs will not be shipped.
