Welcome to the opening of the photo exhibition on Saturday, March 15!
The Saab Car Museum is open from 11:00 to 16:00.
At 13:00 there will be a short opening ceremony where Roger Lärk and the museum's curator Peter Bäckström will present the exhibition.
In his work as a photographer for the local newspaper TTELA, Roger Lärk covered Saab through its ups and downs. Now he has dug deep into the archives to present nearly 100 images from 1973 to 2013.
Roger Lärk’s photographs are fundamentally objective photojournalism that depict current events of great interest to the public. Today, the images not only show an important part of Trollhättan’s history, but also highlight interesting episodes in the story of Saab.
People rather than cars are in focus, and the images evoke emotions in different ways. Not least in the the photographer himself.
– I feel both joy and sadness in my heart when I see the images. Saab touched so many people and you could feel that all the time, says Roger Lärk.
The photo exhibition will be on display in the museum's auditorium until the end of December 2025. The exhibition is the first public activity during the anniversary year of 2025, when the Saab Car Museum turns 50.
