Saab Car Museum Festival June 7-9
The traditional Saab Car Museum Festival will be in and around the Saab Car Museum in Trollhättan, Sweden Friday June 7 to Sunday June 9.
We hope for many participants and it will certainly be crowded. We hope that you will bring your Saab to Trollhättan!
Kickstart Thursday June 6, the Swedish national day:
Bildelslagret will be a part of the Saab Car Museum Festival also this year!
There will be some differences compared to previous years:
Bildelslagret will open both facilities in Trollhättan and Lidköping ( 60 km:s drive from Trollhättan ).
In Lidköping, they will offer ”Do it yourself”-dismantling of at least 50 Saabcars of different models and modelyears. For more information about the cars available and practicalities, see the website: https://www.bildelslagret-lidkoping.se/sv

The ”Do it yourself”-dismantling in Lidköping will be open Thursday June 6 and Friday June 7 between 10.00-16:00.
In Trollhättan, the shop will be open as usual, and they offer a festivaldiscount of 25% on all used and car parts of the shelf. They will also have special offers from Saab Parts / Orio.
This is offered the festival week from Monday-Friday. Please note that the Trollhättan store is closed June 6, the Swedish national day. The opening times is 07.00-17.00. Saturday-Sunday closed.
You can prebook cars parts in Trollhättan for pickup on Friday.
Buy your Saab Car Museum Festivalpass in advance and avoid the queues!
This pass is valid all three festivaldays June 7-9 and gives you entrance to the Saab Car Museum with it´s exhibition and the seminars that will take place there.
We do NOT distribute the passes to you in advance, you will collect them at a separate desk when you arrive. Fast and convenient!
Prices: Adults: 300 SEK
Pensioners: 250 SEK
Youngsters 4-19 years and Students: 200 SEK
Children up to 3 years of age: Free entrance
The sales of Festivalpasses on the webshop will close June 3. After that you simply buy them when you arrive at the Saab Car museums reception!
Friday June 7:
We start smoothly with the Saab Car Museum that is open 10.00-18.00 and we expect that the area around the museum is filled with Saab cars. The activities is mainly in the museum this day.
Take a walk in the exhibition among good friends and take the opportunity to test our new Saab Talladega trioval slot car track!
We are in the final stages of the Saabseminar planning but we can reveal already now that we have speakers like Frank Smit from NEVS, Gunnar Larsson about the creator of the Ursaab Gunnar Ljungström, Uno Dahl with a seminar about Talladega 1996 with Saab 900 and Ulf G Andersson about the Saab Car Museum Support Associations project Saab 93 Group3 racing. And there is more to come…..

Saturday June 8:
The Innovatumarea around the museum will be the exhibition area for the finest Saabs and the marshalls from the Saabclubs will make sure that park in the right area. Just follow their instructions. The activities starts at the same time that the museum opens at 10.00 and we continue to 18.00. The prize giving ceremony starts in front of the museum at 17.00. At the same time, the winner of the Erik Carlsson Award 2019 from the Saab Car Museum Support Association will be presented.

Among the speakers in the seminarprogramme during Saturday will be the Saab Designlegends Einar Hareide and Simon Padian! From USA: Tom Donney with a seminar about how to create a brand new museum with Saab cars in Sturgis, South Dakota. And more…..
Sunday June 9:
Also the final day, the Saab Car Museum is open 10.00-18.00. The seminars continue. This is the flea market for Saab parts and Saabregalia. If you search for the rare ones, this is probably where you can find them …the market will located in front of the museum and will start at 10.00.
Information for sellers:
First entrance at 08.00 and you can establish a place up to 11.00. Just follow the instructions from the marshalls.
Fees: Car 5×2 meter: 300 SEK. Car and small trailer: 600 SEK. The fees will be proportional to the space you need. Minimum fee: 300 SEK. You pay the fee to the Saab club marshalls in cash. Note: Only Saab Parts or Saabregalia!!
