On the occasion of the Roger & Saab photo exhibition, the Saab Car Museum is now arranging a speech with photographer Roger Lärk, who took all the photos for the exhibition.
In his work as a photographer for the local newspaper TTELA, Roger Lärk covered Saab through its ups and downs, from the early 1970s until its bankruptcy. During this lecture, he will talk about his long career as a press photographer and how the profession has changed over the years. We will also hear Roger talk about various memorable situations he has experienced in his work, and of course one or two stories connected to Saab.
Location: Filmsalen, Saab Car Museum
Time: 17.00–19.00
The lecture starts at 18.00. Please come earlier and see the Roger & Saab photo exhibition before the lecture begins.
About the Roger & Saab photo exhibition:
Roger Lärk's photographs are fundamentally objective photojournalism that has depicted current events of great interest to the public. Today, the images not only show an important part of Trollhättan's history, but also highlight interesting episodes in the story of Saab. People rather than cars are in focus, and the images evoke emotions in different ways.
The person rather than the car is the focus, and the images evoke emotions in different ways.
The photo exhibition will be on display at the museum until the end of December 2025.
