This year Arkivens dag (Day of the Archives) is organized in Trollhättan at the Saab Car Museum. Organizers are Trollhättans Arkivförening "The Trollhättan Archive Association" together with the Saab Car Museum and Saab veteranförening i Trollhättan (The association for Saab veterans in Trollhättan) and Föreningen Trollhättebor "the association for people of Trollhättan).
This year's theme is "Work and leisure", whereby we will show fantastic examples from the archives relating to associations connected to Saab. There will also be a photo show with fantastic examples from the car museum's collection.

Program:
11:00 The Saab Car Museum opens
Day of the Archives starts. The exhibits from the archives can be viewed in the auditorium of the car museum. In addition, there is of course the possibility to study att he fantastic cars in the museum's exhibition.
12:00 Lecture with Tommy Sundin, about IF Saab.
13:00 Lecture with Anette Hellgren and Paul Åkerlund about work at Saab.
14:00 Day of the Archives ends.
16:00 Saab Car Museum closes for the day.

About Arkivens dag (Day of the Archives)
Arkivens dag is an annual event in many places in Sweden. By arranging an open house, the archives want to draw attention to the possibility of making exciting trips to the past, but also highlight the work of securing the information that is created today. Behind Archives Day is Svenska Arkiv i Samverkan för Synlighet (SASS, Swedish Archives in Collaboration for Visibility), which consists of the country's archive organizations Arkeion, Näringslivets Arkivråd (NLA), Riksarkivet (the National Archives) and Svenska Arkivförbundet (the Swedish Archive Association).
